O'shea's farm!

The past 3 weeks in weather here have been pretty bad rain rain and more rain oh and did I say rain!?! no sun shine so this means were stuck in my cold house ( the wind goes right thought it) with not much to do and I'm/ we are missing out on the fall fun.. we had one nice day but that was it. Yesterday rain or shine I was getting out with Zoë as we need some outdoor air and fun.

I remember growing up my folks took us to this apple picking farm with a wagon rides, animals and pumpkin patches also there was a nice playground that we played on and hot apple cider nothing but great memories of picking apple and playing in the fall weather.

Cause I know that I had a great time doing that I wanted to be able to take Zoë to something like that one. Here we are living in a new area and not know where things are I have to say we found out where the best farm is. O’Shea’s farm

Off we went the sun was not out and it was raining on and off but there was no stopping us we were ready. I pulled up to the farm and this guy that was working it came out and told us that the wagon, horse rides and the entertainment were canceled due to the weather but we were free to enjoy seeing the animals for free!
I was a little disappointing not be able to go on the wagon ride but my Dad told me something that means so much truth. I have to look at it thought Zoë’s eyes and enjoy what she see and get excited about and she would never know that there was going to be a wagon ride and plus we were the only one there so that meant we had it all to ourselves! So bad weather can bring some good things! But I can’t wait to take her when its all in bloom of fun activities!

Where do I began with the amount of things for the kids to do.
Animal, wagon rides, horse rides, play in the hay in the barn, enchanted forest with all the fairy tales, bunny vile, tractor trike rides, and more but it was too muddy to see it all but we will be back the guy told use that they open again at Easter time and there will be lots of bunnies and Easter things to do.

Talk about fun so what we did see and do was great and Zoë had a blast! Her favorite part was the animals she just loves petting them. We also got to play in the hay but she didn’t like that too much as it was really hard for her to move she was getting stuck. There was a grape vine there in the garden that Zoë and Nonno picked and ate, the tractor trike ride but man was it ever windy and it was starting to rain soe headed back and on the way out there was a wall were you put you face thought for a pictures which we did, my dad is the corn zo's the pumpkin and i'm a strawberry.

My photos are not uploading and i have tried a number of time but still not l'll have to post them later.. which is too bad but I guess that way you will stay tune for more! i getting mad here i am trying again and it wont let me is any one else having issues??

Rummage SALE!!

So last Wednesday (sorry I know that this is a little late but..) I was picking Zo up from daycare and across from the day care there is an arena and it was filling up with people's old junk/rummage items, When I went in to get Zo I asked her teacher what was going on at the arena and she said oh it’s the rummage sale!! rummage sale hey? so I asked her if she was going to go and she said no, so on I went as I am buckling Zo in the car my new friend Nicole drives by and asked me if i'm going.

While to make a long story sort I unbuckled Zo and off we went. the doors didn't open till 6 so we had ten minutes to waitin line, the line was getting so long and the people where coming with bags and shopping carts.. I had no idea what I was getting myself into here..

We got in and the place was packed from Conner to Conner from wall to wall with rummage and people oh the people it was unreal!! it was crazy I have never been to anything like this in my life crazy i'm still trying to get over it.. so here we are with 4 kids( Nicole has 3 kids 2 that are still in a stroller and one that isn't) packed in this arena and people pushing there way by and bagging things it was just crazy (sorry if I say that lots but it was) and I'm just standing here in aww of the whole thing didn't bring a stroller (not like you could push it any ways) no bags nothing just here watching saying I can't do this.

However I did make it out of there with 3 things a helmet that cost me 25 cent and rain boots that are size 5 for 25 cents ( Yay Lyds I got some rain boots that will fit her now) and this little tikes easel for $5 like brand new!

This is why I wanted to write this post to show you a cute movie of Zoë drawing.
Art time with Zoë Nonno!

missing Calgary

I’ve been really missing Calgary a lot lately. I miss the city, the people, the lights, parks, streets the places to go, the transit, the weather (believe it or not) the walks and the houses, being close to the mountain, flames fans. I feel as tho I took it for granted and didn’t really get to enjoy the real beauty of it, or maybe it the little things that you don't notice when you live there.

I can say I notice my own personal growth while living there.

I learn about most of my independence there, Got my first job, It’s where I fell in love for the first time, it where my baby girl was made and born.. and there is so much more, it’s where a lot of firsts happened for me. I’m holding on to the memories that mean so much to me and it makes me miss it.

I will never forget the many years there, it was a place where I called home.

Celebrate!

My 100th post and my one year of bloging anniversary!

It's quite wired how both of theses events turned out to be the same day as thanks giving!

So on that note of giving thanks there is so so much to be thankful for... I could go on an on about what I am thankful for but I will keep it mostly to one thing!

I am so thankful for all the blessings that god has been and giving to be me in the last 8 months! it has been a hard time but a very blessing time for me.. he has provide for me in so many ways.

I am so thankful for having a wonderful family, I got to be home this thanks giving (I can't even remember the last time before this one)Zoë and I went to Dundas for the weekend which Lydia/Auntie lyds came over from Ottawa! it was so good to see her as we don’t see much of each other. All us sister were together( I am missing a pictures of that can you beleive it!?!)

On Sunday we had our family thanks giving dinner at Oma's house where my cousin's Rachel, Eric and Krista and my Uncle and Aunt came. It has been so long since all us girl cousin were together.

The dinner was so wonderful as usual. I really think I have put on a few extra pounds!

What a gorgeous day it was today Auntie Ev and I took Zoë to the park it was so fun to see zo go on the swing and down the slides and run around.

Than I get home only to get a message inviting me to a thanksgiving dinner or should I say feast at the bye's houes! two turkey dinners heck yay! was a great night of food and fellowship! Now I am so sure I have but on a few pounds!

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

So PROUD!

We just finish dinner and I putting the dishes in the sink and I looked over at Zoë and she just had this look like she needed to go poo poo so here is how it went:

Me: oh Zoë do you need to go poo poo?

Zoë: yea( while shaking her head up and down!)

I can't even believe it before I would ask her if she needs to go and she would always so no no no no no....but then go soon after.

I ran her up to the potty before she was done and we actually made it in time!

Here is her on the potty I actually managed to get the camera it took some time for her on there, she was reading Big girls use the potty while all this was going on..

I am so proud of her, I wonder if this is going to continue right away... but if not that doesn't change that fact that she went!

My Bueller

This weekend was a very special weekend for mister Bueller...( it's my car for the ones that don't know)

he got an extreme make over...

Home paint job that’s right a home job.. using tremclad for those of you that are thinking what is she thinking a home job!?! don't get me wrong I had the same thought but really it turn out so good better than I ever thought and most likely what you are thinking!!hahahaha

Before the make over..

A multi colour, the original colour green with two different back doors one black door and one grey... it was quite the look..

A few rust spots but not much, the body of Bueller was good..

The tires dull and rusted look

so all in all not a sweet looking ride..

After the make over!!

All one colour black.. trying to get pink for a pin stripe to go down the sides (he needs a girly touch to him)

No more rust spots and most likely not to have any again.. now the body looking great

Tires shined up with new paint and aluminum spray

so end result.. such a fine looking ride.. all you guys will want to get in on the new tremclad look for your car..hahaha

Many thanks for the people who help make this all work out...
Tim you are so totally awesome
Ronnie, Barry, and Tyler. Many thanks for your time and Doug Prout for letting us use his shop.
