Water weekend

It's been so hot out there that mom and me( Zoë) have been hanging out playing in the water to get ourselves cooled off

I get so hot that I sweat went I'm standing around doing nothing it's pretty crazy and very uncomfortable. Mom bought me this small little pool it's good enough for just me to play in and I've been having so much fun in it splashing around.

I love the water!

Later on in the day we went to the beach with Daryl, Angela and Drew it was my second time going there. Mom had gone before but never had seen a sunset. The water was so warm that I had no troubles going in. I don't like it when my Mom holds me I just want to swim and be free but she never seems to let me go, but I got to swim while the sun was going down and it was amazing.

It was so hat again on Sunday that we went again to the beach with the same friends. This time we went to a different beach (same lake) so we could had a fire and cook some hot dogs.

I played in the sand more then I swam I had sand every where on me mom washed my swim suit and it has sand stuck in it! I had so much fun and I guess it really showes this time! hahaha

I think I'm all beached out for a little bit as I'm so tried and catching up on some loss sleep for being up so late.

Long Island trip part two

Sorry this is coming a little late I’ve been busy with getting into the swing of being back home and working again. I know that some of you have been waitting for this. (huge picture blog)

Where do I begin I had such a wonderful week with family in long Island, New York with many first one including trying sushi for the first time. We went to Kotobuki it was so good I can’t believe I had never had it before.

Thursday night my cousins and I went go- karting and mini putt. We had so much fun I won both times in the go- karts and in mini putt e never did end up adding the scores.

On one of the holes there was a hollow camel and I thought it would be a nice picture of us cousins and sure enough it really was the hole time we were on there I thought for sure it was going to fall over and or brake but it never did the getting off part was the scarcest thing.

Friday we went out for Chinese buffet and it was so good my dad thinks it was one of the best he has been to.

Later in the night I went out to the pool hall with my cousins Chris and Joey and Chris’s friends I play one round but I’m not good at all so that didn’t last long.

Then for the best part of the night I had my first Applebees experience with Chris and Darrell.
I order one beer and the lady gave me two and I was like I only want one and she said its twofurs as in two for ones! The glass that she put them in were just plain and I wanted a picture of me with something that says Applebees. I asked that lady if she had a glass that said that and right a way she said no what do you mean no, I took her answer and was upset about it but you know me I never give up so she came back and I asked her again if she had anything and still she was telling me no so Darrell said listen she doesn’t want to steal it she just wants a picture of he and it. So to make this short she got me one.

Early Saturday morning we were heading home ( we take two days to get there) on the way we went in to Queens NY ( where I was born) and we drove past the house I was born in and the first place my folks had, drove by my Grandparents house and the park that was right around the corner.

After those stops we went in to Manhattan for a short tour drive. Stop at my Dad’s old friend from collage Mary Yèpez. Then did a quick tour of the big city, passing Time square,7th and Broadway, and central park.

Then going over the GW bridge to get near Rochester, NY where we had family friends that we have know since before I was born stay there a night and then night morning back on the road to get home.

I had such a great time and Zoë was so amazing the whole time were with there. I can't wait to go again I hopefully don't have to wait another seven years to see everyone.

Long Island

After a nice long six hour drive we are here in Long Island New York (hour away from the big city) staying with our Aunt Camille and family.

The car ride was great it was a fast no traffic and Zoë couldn’t of been better she play and slept and yea she had a few moments where she was not to happy but for the most part she was wonderful lets hope the ride home is just as good.

Last night we got here and we have already done longs of things. Last night was the four of July so the day of independence we went to our Aunt Rose’s wake and then after I went to my first 4
th of July party with my cousin Chirs's(it's great to see him as he is normally in the US Army and can't come home very often or even at all) It was so awesome I really wish I had my camera to take some pictures of the fire works they were so amazing so that was last night.

This morning was Aunt Rose’s funeral which I got to see some of my cousin that I haven’t seen in seven years! And as I write this I didn’t even think to take pictures darn… I think I’m going to be seeing some of them tomorrow so I will for sure need to take some pictures.

As for this afternoon was a little on the low key side we went in the pool for a bit.

The best part so far about today is that I used a paint ball gum for the first time, It’s my cousin Chris’s and it was fun I was shooting them in the backyard in the fire pit!

Well more to come when it happens.
