Five hours of fun!

So last minute on Thursday which was yesterday, I decide to go down to see my wonderful sister Evelyn. Knowing that I would only have about five hours to spend with her (I drove down with my dad), we met at my grandma's retirement home and had a short visit after helping ourselves to a pineapple and canteloupe we took off on our adventure.

Evelyn had some things to return at value village that she wanted to go there before we go to the mall, but first we went out for some dinner at this Greek semi fast food restaurant called "My buddy's". It was so busy we waiting for 20 minutes before we got our food. (I had a chicken Souvlaki wrap and Evelyn had Gyros.)

Ev and I got in the car and Ev realized she didn't have her retainer, I saw it on the tray last and I threw the tray in the garbage but Ev was telling me she picked it up off there. So in she went trying to find it. Make a long story short she had the employee looking though the garbage! When the whole time her clear retainer was hinding on the floor!!

Then off to value village we went. (My past experience have been really bad or maybe it's just the ones in Calgary that have nothing)

I was not looking for anything in particular but I had to get a cart. Ev and I starting looking in the ladies section, I was not finding anything so I decide to venture over to the baby stuff. (I always have more fun finding things for Zoë) Here I am going thought lots of baby clothes and finding some really nice things I was just putting in the chart. Then from across the store Ev yells my name to find me. She comes on over and starts looking thought the baby clothes, the chart was full of just her things that we went back over the see what was in store for us. We didn’t get very far we found ourselves in the book and toys section of the store, we pick up a few books and some toys. Then that was it the cart could fit no more it was towered over!

So to the ladies stuff we go! Ev and I ended up finding so many nice things but more then half of them didn’t turn out for us.

After spending over two hours in Value village we were done we need some water and out of there.

We went just behind the store where there is a Booster juice. The man that was working was so good looking at and had a very nice hot fit body (this booster is inside premier fitness) I got a mango hurricane and Ev got a carrot mango drink. (There juicer was out of order!) The nice guy that was working was also a little charmer! I can't remember was said but it was charm like! Ev and I got in the car and we just though oh man we forgot to take a picture! No picture of the hot guy!

Ev drove me to Redeemer where Dad was working to go back home, we got there a little early so we sat in the class but it was so bad the students in there were all a bunch of dead bets. So we just waited in the lounge. Off back home we went.

What a great five hours of my life I love you Ev! (Can’t wait to see you during Easter.)

Michelle comes to HP!

Happy 15 months Zoë!!

ps:
Hi internet world... this is a little unusual for me. Why you ask? Simple really. This isn't Julia! dun dun dunnnnnn
its michelle! thats right people ... i entitle this: "A Blog" by: Michelle L. Norton.

So one Thursday afternoon (being today) I decide to venture into the lovely town of Huron Park. This is simple for most London-ers, but most London-ers are not Michelle. Long story short, i called Julia three times from my cell phone in 20 minutes, which resulted in her running out into the street to flag me down. :(!
Anyhow - after a short visit with the locals we decided to explore the lovely metropolous of Exeter. (oh la la !!) . After driving the entrie 6 minute strip, Julia and I decided on our only choice for dinner: Garr's Bar and Grill.

Now i really don't like to judge people at all. But when the only door into a joint has an "enter here" sign, you have to wonder.

Anyways, Julia and I were ready for a fun night, and a fun night we had. Mainly because although I am 21 i act about 6.... which if you average together gives you this:

I think I have gotten ahead of myself here. So Garr's is a very Unvegetarian, Unkosher, and Unhappy place. No worries. We brought the dundas cheer. So after we order (myself a grill cheese and julia a chicken club) we can see the cook's body making our meal. Being us, we decide to guess how old he is... i guess 16 and julia agrees. Without hesitation I call our fine friend over and we chat him up. He asked where I went to school, and Julia showed him pictures of Zoë... in conclusion We love you Luke!

So afte a fine meal of gross grease and slightly cooked food (hes a 16 year old boy ! what did you expect!?).... Julia and I decide to call it a night ... exeter you were good to us ... big ups

On our way back we look at the booming place and realize... wait a minute ... no wonder Luke loved us... he doesn't have any other human contact..:

Well faithful readers our time together is coming to a close. Sad i know... but i have a bit more. On our way out of town i decide to grab a little bit of gas. When i jump out of the car to pump Mitch runs up - full serve! right on! So naturally I ask if Mitch knows little Luke. And HE DOES! its like a dundas but worse i tells ya!

At last we are here... the end ! :(! Buttttttt I still have a little power... so: Difran - I miss ya! ...umm thats it really

PPS: IF you don't comment on this blog... i will track you all down and make you have an Exeter night with me! muahahaha

Michxo - over and out!

MOMMY!

I was feeding Zoë Mac and cheese with a few grapes. I had the Mac and cheese in a bowl because I didn't want it everywhere. When she wants more food she puts out her hand and makes some sound babble that you can't even understand. Today it was different she said Mommy with her hand out, I couldn’t believe it sounded so wired I had to take a double take on what she said and sure enough it was it Mommy!!

I'm excited to hear what else she has to say!

Weekend in Barrie

Friday morning Zoë and I got picked up in Dundas From my cousin Rachel and her daughter Emma (who is over 2 years old) for a weekend of fun.

The weather was not so nice so we stayed in the house most of the weekend, not to mention I was sick the whole time there but that didn't stop me from having a great time. We did not do much the girls played together and Rach and I caught up on life well drinking tea.

We had such a great weekend together I'm so glad it went so super. Thanks again for having us over.

Here are a few pictures of the fun...

Emma playing with all the toys. She tried to share with Zoë but it didn't happen all the time!

Zoë got her turn with the toys and she did seem so happy about that but she was.

The gang.. this picture was so hard to take the girls where making it hard one would be ready well the other one was trying to get out and so on this is the best that we got.

More Driving!!

I got to do more diving today! This time I drove in the town Exeter. I drove down the main street and parked three times in different places. Mom and I went in and out a bunch of shops in town.

It was such a nice day the sun was shinning and it got to be +10!!

In the afternoon I hung out with some of the girls who live here, ended up helping make dinner which was a lot of fun.

Zoë was so good just walking back and forth in the house then playing the piano then finding things in the kitchen to play with.

All in all it turned out to be a great Saturday!

DRIVING!

It's hard to believe that it has already been one week here at my parent’s house. This was a hard week for me dealing with reality of moving back in with my folks. I never know or thought how hard this really would be, I'm still trying to deal with all the changes that are going on in my life.

Today was my first driver lesson; I think I did pretty good for the first time. Mom took me out behind the house where there is an industry park. I drove around there learning how to turn and signal, then I drove on the highway to get to the main town Exeter. Just before we got to the town I got out of the drivers seat and Mom drove us in. On the way back I drove home right into the parking lot here at home safe and sound. It felt nice to get out I can't wait till I can drive again!

Winter Wonderland!

Zoë and I are adjusting to being here I think Zoë is adjusting a lot better than me. She is enjoying being around Grandma and Nonno(grandpa in Italian), the other day my mom and I went to get her from her nap and she picked Grandma over her own mom! I’ve been traded in, it feels nice to have help taking care of Zoë well I’m going though my own issues.

Me on the other hand I’m finding it difficult to be here there is not much to do and see to keep my mind busy. Most days I just feel like being in my room alone. I’m hoping I can find a job here to keep me busy but there are not a lot of options. So I’ll take what I can get. I can’t wait till I feel happy again.

This morning we woke up and there was snow on the ground and it hasn’t stop yet snowing it’s looking more like a winter wonderland! I have never seen so much snow; it’s up to my knees about 10 cm.

Outside looks so beautiful the snow on the tress and houses. I don’t like snow but it sure does look nice, Now that I have pictures the snow can go away.
