In Ontario

On February 16th Zoë and I jumped on a plane and headed for Ontario where we stayed with Ev for her reading week. In our one week we drove out to see Lydia in Ottawa, hung out, saw some friends and went bowling.

It was a nice relaxing week I can't wait to see Ev again now that I'll be in Ontario it will be alot easier to see her.
Some pictures of our time together.....

Road trip to Ottawa!!

After a fun car ride with Zoë and Ev, we arrived in Ottawa to see Lydia. We stopped by her work and Lydia showed off Zoë to all her employees!

On Wednesday, Lydia wanted to give Zoë a hair cut because it was getting really long. This is hard because Zoë is so squirmy but she did it. On the left is a picture of Lyds in the process of cutting Zoë’s hair. Below is a picture of the final product!!

Zoë can see out her eyes now after the hair cut Jenn (Lydia’s roommate) and her boyfriend Julien babysat Zoë while I, Ev and Lyds went shopping. They had a great time playing with Zoë. They gave her a lot of kitchen stuff to play with -- Zoë likes to play with real things, not toys.

We had a short visit, but a really fun time!! I look forward to going back to Ottawa soon.

In Dundas with my broster.

Zoë and I have arrived in Dundas... finally. It took 12 hours to get from Calgary to Dundas because of really bad weather. Ev tried to get me twice at the Hamilton airport, but we weren't there both times. Zoë was really good and slept most of the time.

Yesterday we hung out at Omas house and just rested. Today was exciting. We went to the farmer's market and Zoë was so happy to be there. Dad was there too and was showing Zoë all the different kinds of food and was telling her there names in Italian.

Zoë was the star at the curling club where Ev works because she always tells them about her. Zoë liked watching the players on the ice.

Tomorrow its grandma’s birthday so we are having diner with her.

We are really looking forward to going to Ottawa to visit auntie Lyds. We are going on Tuesday and staying until Thursday. Lyds is taking the day off work so that will be great!! Once we are there I will post more pictures of us with her.

In Everything.

Not much new is going on here..
Here are some funy pictures of Zoe today she gets into everything even if it means pulling, breaking and pushing her way though.

Zoe using her mussles to get herself in! there are only pots and pans in there, still not to sure what the big attraction in there was!

Help mom how do I get out of here?

Zoe pulled out some pots out to make room for her to get out, I think she got what she wanted in there after all!

Fun day at the Zoo

What a great day yesterday! In the morning Bryce and Sarah watched Zoe so I could get my hair cut and brows wax. It was nice to have time to myself.
After I got back we got ready and headed over to the zoo. I think we saw just about everything that we could see, which included Canadian wilds, African savanna, rainforest, Prime mates, Australia, and Eurasia. Zoe liked the gorillas the best she was talking and waving to them; she did that with a few other animals but got more excited at the Gorillas. At the zoo there was a baby hippopotamus that was born in December and it weighs 300 lbs. here is a picture of Zoe looking at it, the grandma is the bigger one close up the baby is behind it. If you can't see it don’t worry it's there!

What a great day at the zoo it might have not been the nicest day but we all had lots of fun. When we got back home we were all tired I had a roast that was ready to eat but nothing else with it. I was so tired that I fell asleep and Sarah took over the kitchen.

It was such a great day Thanks Bryce and Sarah for sharing it with Zoe and me.

Tickle, Tickle Time...

Zoe say's a new word. I like to tickle her and when I do I say"tickle tickle" she laugh and has fun. Two days ago she stared saying tickle tickle. The frist time I heard her say it I was unsure so I said it and she repeated it to me. It's a pertty big and hard word to say but she say's it. Zoe also knows the meaning of it caues now when I do tickle her she say's" tickle tickle" I dont even need to say it anymore she does it for me. How cute she is understand me more, she might not respond or obey but she starting to know.
