White mornings

I woke up today and there was snow on the ground not much but still enought to say it was the real first snow fall. I forgot how pertty snow really is.

I have been brestfeeding Zoe for 11 months, but for the past two days I've been giving her a bottle, and I'm surpised of how well its going. Zoe doesn't mine it at all, she is doing so good with it! I give her homogenized milk not formula she hates that stuff. Its funny to say but I miss nuresing her alreadly.

one more swing

We went to the park this afternoon, it wasn't really nice but I wanted to get out. The sun wasn't out but I'm sure it will be the last time before the snow comes. Which they say its coming tonight.

Zoe having fun!

Rubber bands & Nice weather

So every time I open my pots and pan cupboard Zoe makes her self feel welcome. Zoe gets right in there, She pulles them out, bands them around and gets them all dirty.

I dont really mind this kind of play it keep her busy till I'm done in the kithen. Everytime this happens tho I need to wash them.

That just takes more of my time. So I have now had to put rubber bands around the nobs. No more getting in, so far she hasn't fiuger out how to take it off. I'm just waitting for that.

Here in Clagery it's been so nice I can't even belive it. The weather here has been +12-+17! With the sun shining and a clear sky.

There is a park just a block away from our houes, I have been taking Zoe there almost everyday. Zoe LOVES the swings, when I push her she laughs, talks and when she get super happy and excited she gets the hickups.

Some times there is other kids there but not usally when there is Zoe loves watching them play I'm sure she can wait to go down the slides.

I'm enjoying the weather well I can, they say this weekend there will be snow! oh yes a little bit of reailty is coming back!

Zoe walks the halls of Parliament

So today was a busy day, after Zoe's morning nap, we took a walk to see the parliament buildings. Along the way we stopped in at Lydia's work because she wanted to show Zoe off to her employees. They all thought she was really cute. Then we went to Parliament Hill. We took some pictures (we will post them soon) and went up the Peace Tower. Zoe really liked looking outside and it was a perfect day to see the city.

Zoe needed to eat, so we sat in the hallway and fed her. She was getting grumpy so we took her out of the stroller so she could stand up. She then tried walking with the stroller, so Auntie Lyds, who wants to teach Zoe how to walk, helped her out. Zoe walked down the WHOLE hallway, to one end and back, pushing the stroller!!!! Zoe can now officially say that she has walked the halls of parliament! and Mike Duffy saw her too!

It was time to leave because Zoe was getting tired. We made a short stop at Zellers to look for socks, then we walked down Bank St (which has all sorts of shops and restaurants). Then we stopped into Dana's work (Lydia's friend), again to show Zoe off. After, we stopped into Big Bud's -- what a place!! It's like a Bargain Harold's/Biway/Dollar Store, but more grubby.

Tonight is poker night at Lydia's place with some of her and Jenn's friends. Tomorrow will be another big day! I'm looking forward to it, as I didn't do a lot in Huron Park.

In the Nation's capital!!!

Yay!! I'm in Ottawa now!!! We had a good flight and Lydia came with Angela to pick us up. I had lots of stuff and Lydia had some things she borrowed for Zoe so the car was packed to the max!

We arrived home and right away Jenn (Lydia's housemate) started playing with Zoe -- she LOVES babies!! Zoe went to bed cuz she was really tired and i finally got to watch some tv.

This morning we played with Zoe a bit and then went grocery shopping so we have food to eat this weekend. Since Lydia doesn't like to cook, I'm being a great sister and cooking for her. This afternoon we are going to see the parliament buildings and go up the peace tower! It will be my first time there... and Zoe's too.

Tomorrow Jenn is going to babysit so that Lydia and I can go shopping and exploring the city. I'm excited to go shopping for some new clothes.

sunsets and cake

To night was my last night here in Centrlia, and I was hoping to see a sunset. Houron park is know for there sunsets. I asked Darly a student from the school if he could take me to see the sunset. So off we went with some other students to houron lake but when we got there, there were too many clouds so after all I never got to see a sunset. We returned just in time for dinner After dinner they pulled out this goodbye cake for Zoe and I. It said "love u Julia & Zoe. Thanks to Deanna Bye for making the loving cake, it made me feel so special. Many thanks.

Snow time

I found a winter jacket for Zoe!
Old navy always comes though.
This new jacket is a little big(size12-18mo)
in the sleaves but the smaller size wouldn't be
able to last her the whole winter. Zoe will just have to grow!

Zoe is weighting 17lbs and is 25 inches!

Shoping in london

Today we went to london, with my Mom , Cathy , Zoe and I. We did all kinds of shoping, we were looking for a snowsuit for zoe but never found one. We got lots of other things. In the christian book store mom got a movie for Zoe, in Michaels craft store I got stockings and a print to put on them, they turn out so good I'm so proud! Than off we went to Old navy but still no snow suit I got a pair so flip flops for $1, and Zoe got a really nice pair of cord pants. Our last stop was walmart and there was just nothing there for me or Zoe. So were still looking for a snowsuit.

She is at the stage were she is playing shy with people she doesn't know, and it taken her a long time to warm up to her Nonno (grandpa) It's different he is gone all day so she donesn't see him as mush as grandma. Zoe is getting better last night they sat together whating a baby movie.
